The Town of Oakville is encouraging trick-or-treaters to get active this Halloween by reducing the price of its swim/skate passes. For October, the Town has reduced the price to 50 cents per pass. Residents can take in Halloween-themed activities during Centennial Pool's Monster Mash Sunday (Oct. 27) from 1:30-4 p.m. Regular recreational swim admission fees apply. A Family Halloween Celebration will be at the Oakville Museum also on Sunday from 1-4 p.m. Admission costs $5 and people can dress in costume for the historical Raggedy Ann storytime, pumpkin hunt and craft. On Halloween (Thursday, Oct. 31), the Family Halloween Howl will be at Iroquois Ridge Community Centre from 6-9 p.m. Participants can swim to spooky music, watch a movie, make crafts or participate in a Halloween fitness dance class. The cost is $8 and accompanying adults will be admitted at no charge. For more information, visit www. oakville.ca.
