Georgetown District High School's junior Rebels chalked up an impressive 32-14 over the Iroquois Ridge Trailblazers at Kiwanis Field, with running back Aaron Steffens scoring four touchdowns on the afternoon. Quarterback Connor Heggie connected with Ryan Childs on a long pass-and-run play for GDHS's other major score. The senior Rebels lost on home turf 10-2 to the Ridge in a game that wasn't decided until the final five minutes. Christ the King's seniors dropped a 27-7 decision to the T.A. Blakelock Tigers Thursday in Oakville and the junior Jags also fell to Blakelock 28-6. On Thursday, Oct. 4, Georgetown will host CtK in a football doubleheader.
