On Saturday about 10:15 a.m. Halton Regional Police report a 57-year-old Georgetown woman lost control of her Toyota SUV while attempting to park in the lot at the fitness centre and struck the building located at 232 Guelph St. No one was injured. That incident was minor compared to one that occurred at the building July 31 when another Georgetown woman crashed her SUV through BAO's front window, injuring Sheri Pare, who works at the club as a receptionist. Pare, who was in a back office at the time, was struck by the SUV and it took firefighters 45 minutes to extricate her from the vehicle's undercarriage. Sean Patrick Sullivan, Director of Education and Communication for BAO, said in Saturday's incident two bricks were chipped during the impact but there was no other damage to the building. Another vehicle in the lot received minor damage. No charges were laid. Sullivan said the driver of the Toyota is a member of BAO. "We are not certain if she was coming or going," said Sullivan.
