To accommodate the City of Toronto's Dufferin Street Bridge removal project, GO Transit will suspend service from Saturday (Nov. 30) at 2 a.m. to Monday, Dec. 2 at 2 a.m. -- regular GO Train service will resume on the line at 5 a.m. The Dufferin Street Bridge, located just south of Springhurst Avenue in Toronto, spans GO Transit's Lakeshore West rail corridor and its removal requires the shutdown of the Lakeshore West line. In June 2013, the City of Toronto initiated an emergency closure of the Dufferin Street Bridge due to its deteriorating condition and to ensure public safety.
