Andic's one-year scholarship will allow him the opportunity to study and train with GISS in Novara, Italy, as well as play against professional clubs in hopes he will be scouted to become a member of their team. "Dragan is a player I have watched develop at OSC and I believe the GISS academy will allow him to improve his knowledge and skills in the game, as well as adapt to life as a possible professional player in Europe," said OSC technical director Rafael Carbajal, who organized the team's trip. "We are very excited for his bright future." During the team's 10-day stay in Italy, players trained and played against some of the country's top professional youth teams and were taught by professional coach and former player Raul Longho. The team also found time to watch Inter Milan play Verona at San Siro Stadium in Milan.
