At the event, the HHHBA not only recognized the efforts of hard working members and friends of the building industry, but also celebrated the dedication and success of the association and this year's president, Anthony Chiarella of Marz Homes, shown at left with his wife Julia and children Cassandra and Daniel. There were more than 250 people on hand to thank Chiarella for his successful presidency; a year in which the HHHBA was awarded the distinguished honour of Ontario Local Association of the Year Award by the OHBA. Award recipients were as follows: Distinguished Service Award - Builder Member, 2013 Recipient John Bruce Robinson, Homes by John Bruce Robinson; Distinguished Service Award - Associate Member, 2013 Recipient Allan Roshko, Burlington Post; Paul Wright Memorial Award; 2013 Recipient Vince Molinaro, Molinaro Group. ADI Development Group made the link between contemporary architecture and nature in Burlington, hosting Dinner X Design, a pop-up art and food gallery. Contemporary artists set the focal point for the evening with live painting installations inspired by Bronte Creek and afterwards, donated to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
