The launch, titled -- A Time to Dream, drew about 400 people to hear Oakville Mayor Rob Bur- ton and an expert guest panel speak about the revitalization project and the shape it could take. "A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to do urgent and important work is upon us," said Burton. "The crown jewel of our town is our downtown. We have an opportunity to make it shine brighter for everyone. We have the opportunity to reimagine how it works as a cultural hub. We have the oppor- tunity to reimagine how it works as a commercial and residential area. We can even reassess how we travel and park within it." Burton said the reason these things must be examined now is because the foundations of Lakeshore Road within the downtown area are passing their life expectancy. see Time on p.8 MacLachlan College Oakville's only IB World School, proudly offering the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme Optimize Performance (Adults and Children) · Attention span is short · Difficulty organizing & completing work · also helpful for Asperger's · also Psycho-educational testing ADD Centre Pre-school to grade 12 | Call to inquire about applying 905-844-0372 ext. 235 | 337 Trafalgar Road, Oakville | www.maclachlan.ca Neurofeedback and learning strategies can provide a lasting improvement.
