Ann Jane (Johnston) Norton is surounded by the girls of the Johnston/Norton families. Gertie, Ethel and Maud Johnston stand behind her. On her left are her daughters Maud and Erma. Sitting on the floor is Ida on the left and Elizabeth Johnson on the right.
Notes
Ann Jane Johnston married Theophilus Norton on July 18, 1876. They met at Castlemore Public School in Peel County where Ann Jane was a pupil and he came as the first teacher.

Ann Jane Johnston was born on Lot 11 Con 11 Toronto Gore Township, Peel County. The farm was called Silver Maples Farm. Her parents were David Johnston and Elizabeth Stretton. She died at Red Deer, Alberta.
