Police said the landlord became suspicious about the amount of electricity one of the apartments in her building was using and inspected the unit. "When she went in, she found the grow op and a female inside," said Det. Sgt. Brad Murray of the Halton police Integrated Drug, Gun and Gang Unit. "The female ed and the landlord called the police. We arrived and took down the grow op." At 1 a.m., of cers raided the apartment where the grow op was discovered and two others. The raids resulted in the seizure of 1,605 mari- juana plants and 30 pounds of dried marijuana. No arrests had been made as of press time. "This is a big seizure, but we have a lot of work ahead of us now to identify the people responsible," said Murray.
