Starting at 7:30 p.m. at Jonathan's Bistro, 120 Thomas St., the event will include tasting stations, martinis and live entertainment from Curtis Ray Smith, as well as a live and silent auction. CCFC's goal is to find a cure for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and create awareness of the chronic diseases. An inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), Crohn's and colitis affect more than 233,000 Canadians and five million people globally. IBD can lead to colorectal cancer, the third most common form of the disease in Canadian men and women.
