COOPER, James (1946- 2013) It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a cherished husband, father, and papa, James Charles Cooper, after a strong and valiant battle with cancer. Jim was surrounded by his family at the time of his passing. Beloved husband of Fern Cooper, cherished father to Michael and Debbie, and father in law to O'neil and Sharon. Loving papa ("Pops") and mentor to Jaden and Kiarra, Paige, Ashley and Matthew. Brother of Connie and uncle to Jeff and Robin. Jim is predeceased by his father Charles, mother Betty and brother Tom Cooper. Following his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held at OAKVIEW FUNERAL HOME, 56 Lakeshore Rd. W., on December 23 2013 at 12:30 p.m., followed by a celebration of his life at 1:30 p.m. Instead of remembering Jim with tears, we ask that you remember his sense of humour and remember him with smiles and laughter.
