The first week The first birthday The first Father's Day The first Thanksgiving The first Remembrance Day The first Christmas We have now just turned the page on the year 2013 We now approach the day you peacefully left us We reach the first year But we also start to think of "the lasts" The last time we got together The last time we saw you at your home The last time you told us you loved us The last time we saw your smile The last time our eyes met The last time we heard your voice The last time you held our hands The last time you breathed The last time we were ever able to lay our eyes on you.... We think of you on this first anniversary of your passing. We've thought of you every day throughout that year. We've each missed you in our own way. You will never be forgotten.
