Have you bought your ticket for the Valentine dinner and dance next week? Juke box will be entertaining, and we will be enjoying Swiss Chalet chicken, baked potato, cole slaw and a surprise dessert. If you are unable to get to the Centre, there are copies available at the library. please sign up by Wednesday. The final computer course on Tuesday, February 12 will cover creating your own secure personalized email address, exploring the e-mail experience in depth, mark emails as read or unread, and create files within ones e-mail account. Matthew and Jessie Caldwell have certainly widened many senior's horizons with their expertise, enthusiasm and patience. The last Tuesday in each month is Coffee, Books and Computers. Vicky Firth of the Acton Branch of Halton Hills Library will help us explore the latest bestsellers and answer your basic computer questions. This program is free and refreshments will be served. You do not have to be a member of the Centre to attend. The annual general meeting is March 5 at 2 p.m.. If you are a member, please mark your calendar and try to attend. It is very important to have as many members present as possible. We will be electing new board members. The thirty people that went to St Lucia with me 5 had a wonderful time. The island is beautiful, the resort lovely, and the people are very friendly and helpful. Now we are wondering where to go next year. I missed Shirley Hunter and Frances Hogenbirk's names from last week's paper. They both had mooners during Bid Euchre on Thursday, January 24. Everyone enjoyed the trip to Rama on January 30. The 50/50 draw was won by Stephanie Westaway and the birthday prize by Helen Hore. In the lucky seats were S t e p h a n i e We s t a w a y and Eleanor Haughston. Stephanie told me her luck was still holding at the Casino as she came out slightly ahead, and at Friday's Bingo she won again. The next trip to Rama is Wednesday February 27.
