Description
Isaac's parents had been British Loyalists who came to the Niagara penninsula and settled in Grimsby Township, in the area of Tansley. The family was large, bringing 4 children with 8 more children born in Upper Canada. Isaac was their oldest son.

Isaac received the land titles to various lots in Trafalgar Township and in 1831, he transferred the title of Lot 34, Concession 1 South of Dundas Street to his son, John. John's family and descendants farmed this property until the land was acquired for Bronte Creek Provincial Park in 1972 by the Ontario government.

Isaac and Hannah remained in Grimsby Township.

The property is on the north-east corner of Bronte Creek Provincial Park. South side of Dundas Street, just east of Tremaine Rd.
