CARMAN, Donald A. Suddenly, on Saturday, January 25, 2014 in Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in his 90th year. A retired TD Bank executive vice-president, Don provided leadership and expertise on boards and committees of the Presbyterian Church of Canada, Knox Presbyterian Church, Oakville, The Rotary Club of Toronto, and several service and social organizations in Oakville and Toronto. Predeceased by his brother James Keith, he leaves his wife of 62 years, Irene; his brother Ian, Toronto; sister-in-law Audrey, Burlington; his children: Bruce (Laura), Vernon B.C.; Andrea, Bucharest, Romania; and Gregory (Andrea), Altona MB; grandchildren: Jacqueline, Steffani, and Jonathon. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 7-9pm Tuesday, February 11, 2014. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 11 a.m. in Knox Presbyterian Church, 89 Dunn St. (Lakeshore Rd. E. and Dunn St., Oakville); reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Knox Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund or the Rotary Club of Toronto Charitable Foundation (www.rotarytoronto.com) Condolences through www.koprivataylor.com.
