Ontario Provincial Police arrested Judson William King in Oakville without incident Friday morning. He is scheduled to appear in an Owen Sound court on May 15. Arrest warrant issued An arrest warrant has been issued for King's brother, Frederick Madison King, 55, leader of the Church of Jesus Restored on charges of sexual exploitation, sexual interference, three counts of sexual assault, three counts of assault causing bodily harm, five counts of uttering death threats, two counts of assault with a weapon and 10 counts of assault. Frederick King's whereabouts are currently unknown, however, police said he may have recently been in the Chatsworth area. King is described as white, about 5-foot-10, with a heavy build and brown hair. Investigations looking into allegations of physical and sexual assault at the church began in November 2012. Sixteen-month investigation After a 16-month investigation, police laid a total of 31 charges involving seven victims, with some charges dating back to 1978. The victims were members of the church at the time of the alleged offences. The news group, which includes the Oakville Beaver, Burlington Post and Milton Canadian Champion, received 13 nominations and picked up awards Friday night (April 4) at the OCNA gala in Vaughan. Among the most prestigious awards in journalism, Don Ford, managing editor of the Burlington Post, and a 27-year veteran in his field, earned second place as Editor of the Year while Oakville Beaver photographer Nikki Wesley took third place as Photographer of the Year. Wesley also earned a second-place finish in the Best News Photo competition for her photo depicting Oakville's Keith Childerhose as he waited on the organ donor transplant list for a pair of lungs prior to having a double lung transplant in early 2013. Ford has been with the Post since the fall of 2000 while Wesley, known for her passion for storytelling through her images, has been a photojournalist for seven years. She came to Metroland's Halton Division in 2008. "I'm proud of the Halton editorial and advertising teams. These awards are a testament to their hard work and dedication to the industry," said David Harvey, general manager of Halton Newspaper Division, Metroland West Media Group.
