Goaltender Colton Incze posted a 5-0 record at the tournament, including a 25-save effort in the final as the Young Nats defeated the Quinte Red Devils 4-1. Incze recorded a 0.60 goals-against average and a .975 save percentage in his five appearances. Forward Zachary Gallant scored twice in Toronto's seven games, while defenceman Robert Proner contributed an assist. The Young Nats went 6-0-1 overall at OHFs. Jamie Gallant is Oakville's other connection to the team, serving as an assistant coach. This was the second year the Shooting Stars hosted the event, which also featured teams from Burlington, Milton and Mississauga. The tournament began with the Knights of Columbus leading the athletes into the gym with a colour parade, followed by a welcome from Oakville mayor Rob Burton. The Knights of Columbus also provided a hamburger lunch for all participants, and more than two dozen student volunteers helped ensure the day ran smoothly by serving as team ambassadors and scorekeepers. The 1st Oakville Pathfinders Girls Guides group distributed snacks and water throughout the day to coaches and athletes.
