Held at Munn's United Church, 5 Dundas St. E., the event is a collaborative effort between Iroquois Ridge staff, the school's Interact club, the Rotary Club of Oakville West, and Women in Food Industry Management. Organizers are expecting approximately 200 people to attend the two seatings at 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., which will offer spaghetti, salad, rolls, drinks and dessert, as well as meatballs by local restaurateur Julia Hanna -- Longo's will donate the pasta sauce, meat and cheese. Tickets to the event cost $15 for adults and $12 children. Proceeds will be going towards Plan Canada Gifts of Hope Foundation, which provides gifts to those in need locally and internationally, such as education for a child or literacy for a mother, or a gift that leads to a livelihood and the ability to provide for a family. The evening will also include local entertainment provided by students.
