Beloved husband for 66 years to Eleanor. Cherished father of Wendy Filipuzzi and her husband John, David and predeceased by his son Wayne in 2003. Proud grandfather of six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He served his country as a proud member of the Canadian Navy serving on many ships including the HMCS Sioux. After his service Ron spent many years as the maintenance superintendant at OSCR in Oakville. His friends will remember him as a man who had a wonderful sense of humour and as a person who could always be counted on when they needed help. Ron's family offers thanks to Doctor Lynn Benjamin and the nursing staff of St. Elizabeth's Hospital for their kindness and support during his illness.
