Chudleigh said the Wynne government lacked a process in selecting the prospective satellite campuses. He said under the PCs, the deadline "wouldn't get any longer" -- quelling local fears that the fate of a campus in north Halton could be further delayed. If the PCs were to form a majority after next month's June 12 election, Chudleigh said the party would commit to expanding transit by uploading the service of Toronto subways and regional highways such as the Gardiner Expressway to Metrolinx. Chudleigh said two-way, allday GO service in Burlington and Oakville has been successful thus far and a third rail being built in Milton, initiated by the PCs in 2001, is still awaiting completion. "You can't put all-day GO service with just two rails. It's a CP rail, and CP likes their freight and we've cajoled them out of as much GO traffic as we can get," he said, adding that a PC government would emphasize building that third line to bring all-day GO service to Milton by 2017. "All-day GO service will be a huge reliever of traffic," Chudleigh said. "It's very difficult to take a GO train now when you're not sure what time you're going to get out."
