At 6 p.m., Bronte Creek Pharmacy, 2290 Lakeshore Rd. W., was closing for the day when a man pulled out a rearm and told an employee to open the door, said Halton police. A struggle ensued, but the employee's calls for help alerted passersby and the culprit ed empty-handed with a second man. Thirty- ve minutes later, a suspect of similar description pulled out what appeared to be a handgun at Edward's Pharmacy, 170 Rebecca St., and demanded narcotics. He ed with a quantity of pills. No one was injured. Police said the stolen drugs could be fatal if taken incorrectly. The suspect is white, in his late 20s or early 30s, 5-foot-7, with a medium build.
