The school located at 1079 Linbrook Rd. will open its doors from 5:30-8 p.m. and everyone is welcome. A welcome ceremony begins at 6 p.m. and there will be lots to do. Among the features, visitors will be able to experience the recreated 1932 one-room school, view historical memorabilia, attend presentations by current Linbrook students, attend a tree planting ceremony and reconnect with former classmates and friends. Keepsakes of Linbrook will also be available to purchase or order including: a limited edition Linbrook watercolour painting and note cards by local artist Kathy Haliday, an engraved walkway stone, a commemorative DVD and a 2007-2008 yearbook.
