MOORE, Lois Margaret Isabella It is with the deepest regret that we announce her passing at the age of 79. Lois passed peacefully with her family by her side at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on March 27th, 2014 after a courageous battle with cancer. She is predeceased by her loving husband Bill (47 years). An incredible mother to Will (Jennifer), Margaret and Ron. A precious Grandmother to Macy, Andy, Kaitlin and Liam. Survived by her sister Violet Coburn, predeceased by her sister Evelyn and brother Mel. A wonderful aunt to many nieces and nephews. Lois made friends easily and her fun-loving personality allowed her friendships to flourish for decades. Throughout her life Lois traveled the world, making memories with Bill, her children, her extended family and friends. Always engaging and kind, Lois lived a full and happy life, cherishing time with her loved ones. Special thanks goes out to the Queens Retirement Residence for their incredible support of Lois during the last year of her life. Not enough can be said regarding the attention and guidance provided to Lois and her family in recent weeks. The family cannot put into words their deep gratitude owed to Dr.'s Takhar, Love, Gill, Fine and the special team of caring nurses and support staff at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.
