- This is the first of seven binders referencing the materials in the Town of Oakville's microfilm collection.
It is part of the Access to Oakville History Project - an index for the Oakville Public Library's nine microfilm collections. The index is extensive, both outlining the contents of each microfilm reel and providing researchers with a direct avenue to their location.
The inventories of each collection are kept in binders labeled with a collection name and number, series, and binder number. Collections are then broken down into subseries and microfilm reel numbers for further finding aid.
Microfilmed assessment and collector's rolls for a given year, along with council records, such as bylaws, minutes, and accounts, can be located using this document.
