Ken was in his 85th year and is survived by his beloved wife and soulmate Judy (Killam) and his three wonderful children Donald (Tammy), Brian (Leslie) and Ann (Abdullah). He was extremely proud of his four grandchildren, Jenna, Kristen, Elena and Cole. Ken was an avid tennis player and along with Judy they travelled the world. They particularly enjoyed many adventures in their R.V. Ken was most of all a family man and a friend to everyone. Visitation will take place at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block east of Kerr, 905-844-2600) from 4 - 7 pm on Wednesday June 18, 2014 with a Celebration of Ken's Life being held at a later date. The family particularly would like to thank the staff at West Oak Village who went above and beyond to provide Ken with such compassionate care during his stay. Condolences through www.koprivataylor.com MacLEOD, Florence, "Sue" nee Curtis Aged 93, passed away quietly in her sleep at the Burloak Long-Term Care Centre in Burlington, Ontario on February 10, 2014. Beloved wife of the Rev. Dr. Hinson A. MacLeod (D. 1999) for over fifty years, she is survived by her sister, Mrs. Effie Philips, of Columbia, South Carolina, USA, and her children, Burns A. MacLeod (Margaret), of Burlington, Ontario, and Mrs. Bonnie E.M. Greene (Gordon), of Smith's Falls, Ontario, and her grandchildren, Kathleen and Andrew MacLeod, of Burlington, Ontario. Remembered with much love, it will also be with great respect, that those who knew her always felt, for her strength of character, and her sense of honour and duty. The consummate minister's wife, and, later, military chaplain's wife, she worked tirelessly in both church and chapel with junior and senior choirs, Christmas pageants, Women's institutes, and other activities, including Brownies and Girl Guides. After Hinson's retirement in Oakville, she kept house at 369 Lees Lane, and the couple continued their close association with Central Baptist Church in Oakville. Always the proper hostess, she will be greatly missed by friends and family alike. All may join the family for a reception and memorial service in the chapel at Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens, 9th Line just north of Dundas St. in Oakville, on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at 11am.
