Jack had 124 rushing yards and hauled in another 128 yards on passes from Oakville quarterback Daniel Kelly. Kelly had a one-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter, and connected with Austin Tucker on a 13yard strike for Oakville's other major. The Longhorns will seek their first win of the year tomorrow (Saturday) when they host the 1-2 Toronto Raiders in the league's annual Hall of Fame Game. The OJHL recently announced that games tied after regulation time and a five-minute sudden-death overtime period of four-on-four will feature an additional five-minute sudden-death OT period of threeon-three, rather than a shootout. If a goal is not scored during the threeon-three overtime, the game will be declared a tie. Oakville Blades general manager Mike Daley expressed his support of the rule change via Twitter, tweeting "...don't mind the tie at all. @OakvilleBlades make playoffs last year without SOL." The Blades were 0-4 in shootouts last season and missed the playoffs by losing a tiebreaking game with the Toronto Jr. Canadiens -- coincidentally, in overtime. Toronto was 2-1 in shootouts and the Mississauga Chargers, who also edged out the Blades for a playoff spot, were 4-1.
