Oakville trio face drug charges by Julia Le Oakville Beaver Staff 3 | Friday, July 4, 2014 | OAKVILLE BEAVER | www.insideHALTON.com An Oakville man and two Oakville women have been arrested in the wake of a two-week drug investigation by Halton police. Officers, teamed up from the Strategic Proactive Youth Enforcement Team and the Oakville Strategic Support Team, attempted several times to make an arrest on a warrant at a residence on North Service Road. Police were able to locate the accused male and two female roommates inside the Oakville apartment, Wednesday (July 2). During the arrest, police came across a small quantity of heroin and a flick knife, which is a prohibited weapon. As a result, police executed a criminal code search warrant and seized additional quanti- ties of heroin, cocaine, marijuana and Dexedrine. Benny Hayes, 30, faces charges of possession of a prohibited weapon, three counts of possession of a controlled substance, breach of prohibition order and failure to comply with probation order. He was held for a bail hearing. Allison Bass, 23, was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance and failure to comply with a probation order while Sandra Hadlow, 47, was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
