Blades to host OJHL showcase once again For the second consecutive year, the Oakville Blades will host the Ontario Junior Hockey League's Governors' Showcase in September. The OJHL made the announcement yesterday (Thursday) while releasing its 2014-15 regularseason schedule. The Governors' Showcase is an annual OJHL event in which all the league's teams play at one venue, in order to better expose players to university scouts. This year's showcase, slated for Sept. 26-28 at Sixteen Mile Sports Complex, will mark the first time that each team will play twice during the event. The extra game for each team at the showcase will bump the OJHL regular season up to 54 games.
