"1 think everybody knows this is their last chance at minor hock ey as a group, and they've been together for a long time and they know that, and they want to go out as winners." Certainly, the team is primed. "We have no injuries," said coach McKenzie. And he said their Sunday night practice was the best in the six years he's been at the helm. "They're flying. They know what's there, they know how important this tournament is, and they know how important it is to get to the OHL Cup. and they just want to be there." In a perfect world, they would have liked more game action. In a way, they're a victim of a combi nation of their own success and the OMHA's mysterious playoff planning. With their two playoff sweeps, the Rangers will have only played six games between Jan. 20, when they posted their last regular season win. and this Friday. March 15. when the OMHA championship kicks off in Oakville.
