J. Richard Werkman chiropodist Three Oakville men are facing drug-related charges after Halton police executed search warrants at two Oakville residences Wednesday evening. The raids, which were carried out by the Halton police Oakville Strategic Support Team, followed an investigation into alleged drug trafficking in Oakville and resulted in the seizure of 566 grams of marijuana, 16 grams of cocaine, five grams of MDMA (ecstasy), one gram of methamphetamine, two digital scales and $1,565 in cash. Three arrests were also made. Tyler Soares, 19, and Minjae Im, 18, both from Oakville, have each been charged with trafficking a controlled substance (marijuana) and possession for the purpose of trafficking (marijuana). Im has also been charged with three additional counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine, MDMA, and methamphetamine). Clayton Meyrick, 18, of Oakville has been charged with possession of a controlled substance. The accused were released from custody after signing promises to appear in Milton Court.
