S C O O T E R C O L L I S I O N An elderly woman was taken to Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital (OTMH) after being struck by a vehicle on Lakeshore Road West near East Street Thursday afternoon. The woman was driving her mobility scooter near the Lakeshore Road Tim Hortons parking lot around 12:45 p.m. when the collision occurred, Halton police said. Members of the Oakville Fire Department, an ambulance and police were called to the scene. Officers reported the woman was conscious before she was taken to hospital. This is the second accident involving a collision between a vehicle and a mobility scooter in Oakville this month.
