The new 2003 D isco very fea tures a number o f braking and chassis improvements. The front and rear disc brakes have been fit ted with revised pads and calipers to im prove response and feel w hile the suspension has revised loca tions to im prove refinem ent. These im provem ents build on the D iscovery's well-proven dynam ic control system s of A ctive C ornering Enhancem ent (A C E ) and S e lf L e v e llin g Suspension (S L S ). The A C E system m inim izes roll through bends w hile the air-sprung S L S system retains a level stance under all load com binations.
