Gas bar robbed Two men armed with a rifle and a baseball bat robbed an Oakville gas bar early Monday morning, report the Halton Regional Police. According to investigators, the inci dent began around 4:10 a.m. when two males approached the lone male atten dant at the Sunoco gas station at 625 Third Line and forced him at gunpoint into the kiosk. Once inside, the thieves tied up the employee and removed a quantity of cash and a number of cartons of ciga rettes then fled on foot. Officers including those from the Canine Unit combed the area, but the culprits were not located. The rifle used in the robbery is described as having an olive coloured stock. The baseball bat was recovered at the scene. The first suspect is described as a white male in his early twenties, fivefeet eight-inches to five-feet 1 1-inches. 140 to 180 pounds with dark hair in a buzz cut. He was wearing a dark puffy jacket, dark pants and had a blue ban danna over his face. The second suspect is a white male in his early twenties, five-feet six-inches to six-feet of unknown weight and was wearing a blue and white jacket with a hood. On Friday, the Halton Regional Police Firearms Officer and patrol officers, together with members of the Provincial Weapons Enforcement Unit (PW EU ). executed a search warrant and seized two. long-barrel firearms stored unsafely in a closet plus a prohibited butterfly knife. According to police, a tip led to their investigation of the man which produced enough evidence for a search warrant. Robert John Donohoe, 20. of Queensbury Crescent has been charged with possession of a prohibited weapon, two counts of careless storage of a firearm, unauthorized possession of a firearm and breach of recognizance. He is scheduled to appear in Oakville Court on April 16. Two teens rob younger girls Halton Regional Police are looking for a pair of female teenagers who went from admiring two other girls' acces sories to robbing them. According to investigators, the inci dent occurred around 12:30 p.m. Sunday when the 1 3-year old victim and her step sister were walking through the plaza complex at Winston Church Boulevard and Upper Middle Road East. They were approached by two other females, who at first commented on their accessories, then one of the suspects demanded the victim hand over her purse. The victim declined, at which time the second suspect grabbed the victim as well as her step-sister. When the victim relented, the first suspect took her wallet from her purse. This contained a small amount of cash and some personal docu ments. Neither the victim nor her step-sister were physically injured. The first suspect is described a black female. 16 years of age, five-feet to fivefeet two-inches with a heavy, muscular build, very crooked and yellow teeth, with black hair in a ponytail. Suspect two is described as a white female, 16 years, five-feet to five-feet six-inches, 135 pounds with a stocky build, light brown hair in a ponytail, large silver hoop style earrings.
