- This is school photo at S.S. #2, the Palermo school during the 1930s. On the far left in the back row is George Wettlaufer. Second from the left in the middle row is Harold Wettlaufer. The teacher is Mima Bullock.
- Notes
- This is the brick schoolhouse built at Palermo, Trafalgar Township in 1875. It sat back a bit further on the lot than does the new building.
The school was hit by lightening and ultimately destroyed, with a new building for the school opening in 1942. - Date of Original
