The Rangers won Sunday after noon's tense championship game 2-1 over Quinte Red Devils. "The boys played very well." said Oakv ille Rangers coach Scott McKenzie. "Quinte played very well, too. They played a very good game. They're a class team; they're a nice team to play against, actually." Low scoring but exciting, thoughts of overtime started to germinate throughout the arena as the game slipped well past the halfway mark with nary a goal. Nearing the end of the second peri od. however. Oakville capitalized on their one and only power play of the game.
