The Pembroke Drive three-bedroom, single-family dwelling will of cially pass to Christine de Koning, a single mother with three teenagers, at a key ceremony tomorrow (Saturday). Sammy, the family's eldest daughter, said she is overwhelmed by the amount of support her family has received en route to its goal of owning a home for the rst time. The teenager also credited her mom for much. "Throughout this journey, my mom has been my rock," said Sammy. "Without my mom, I'd be lost. My mom is the compass that guides me, my inspiration to reach great heights, my comfort when I occasionally falter and my best friend. Without the support of my mom, I would not have the strength I have now... together we stand. I love you, Mommy." For Sammy's mother, the experience has been a memorable one. "It was amazing that my family and I were on our own property building our own home," she says, "We are all honoured to have had so many supporters working to help us. I've always had my family there to get through hard times, but to have so many others helping as well was overwhelming." see Community on p.3 Grand re-OpeninG SALE ON NOW! 2480 Bristol Circle, Oakville 905-829-0556 · www.woodsenseinteriors.com 905-82
