Man faces charges in collision involving police SUV Tuesday by David Lea Oakville Beaver Staff 15 | Thursday, August 14, 2014 | OAKVILLE BEAVER | www.insideHALTON.com A 39-year-old Hamilton man is facing charges following a lunch-hour crash Tuesday in which an Oakville police of cer was injured. The collision occurred at the intersection of Rebecca Street and Third Line. At approximately 12:55 p.m., a Halton Regional Police SUV collided with a silvercoloured van in the intersection. Police, re ghters and an ambulance were called to the scene. The drivers of both vehicles involved received minor injuries and were transported to Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Both were treated at hospital and released.
