The forum is being hosted in partnership with the City of Burlington as well as the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing. It will offer information on the rules on campaign contributions, expenses and other requirements regulated under the Municipal Elections Act. It will take place Sept. 4 at Oakville Town Hall, 1225 Trafalgar Rd., Council Chamber from 5-7 p.m. Attendees with accessibility needs are asked to contact the Clerk's department by Aug. 28 at elections@oakville.ca, 905-8456601, ext. 6015 (TTY: 905-338-4200) or by filling out the accessible customer service form.
