Registration for most library programs opened on Saturday, Aug. 16 and is handled through iris, the Town of Oakville's online signup system. Unless otherwise specified in the Fall/Winter 2014-15 Program Guide, you will need an iris card with a family PIN and personal ID to register. · Children's programs like the popular My First Library Card celebration event, LEGO Robotics and Mother-Daughter Book Club return to the fall program roster, as do storytimes for all ages. Cartooning classes, free concerts and a special author visit are also scheduled. · Tickets to the library's most anticipated adult event, An Evening for Book Lovers, go on sale Monday (Aug. 25) in branches and online.
