Facilities close for the holidays The Oakville Town Hall and the administrative offices of the Oakville Fire Department are closed for the holi days and will re-open on Jan. 2. Also closed on Dec. 26 and Jan. 2, are the following facilities: Oakville Museum, Oakville Galleries, Gairloch Gallery, Centennial Gallery, the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts, Oakville municipal pools and pub lic libraries. The food bank, a non-profit organi zation, is conducting its annual survey of issues affecting food bank recipients. Volunteers will be asked to spend between two and three hours conduct ing questionnaires. The surveys will be administered at food banks across the GTA from midFebruary until the beginning of April. Volunteers must be at least 19 years old and have adequate English skills. Other languages are also required including Spanish, Russian and Arabic. Training will be provided.
