Day of Giving On Saturday, Jan. 31 the Rotary Clubs of Oakville and friends of Rotary will be lending a hand in Oakville for a project known as the Day of Giving. Rotarians will be going into the homes of seniors and others of limited means who need help with household tasks. These tasks will include house clean ing, snow shoveling, minor repairs, run ning errands, changing light bulbs, checking fire alarms, moving furniture and laundry. Rotary will contribute all of the costs for supplies, transportation, etc. Oakville residents with common household tasks that are beyond their physical and financial means are encouraged to register for the Rotary's Day of Giving.
