Hosted by Canadian Tire Financial Services, Jumpstart Games featured a barbecue and a variety of activities aimed at building teamwork skills. The event was specially designed for youth who might not otherwise have the chance to get in the game. The Jumpstart Games, held at Shell Park on Lakeshore Road West, were held earlier this month. It was attended by special guests Carlton the Bear, Duke the Dog and The Raptor -- mascots for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Marlies and Toronto Raptors sports teams, respectively.
