OTHS Relay for Life garage sale Oct. 4 Students and staff at Oakville Trafalgar High School (OTHS) will host a charitable garage sale Saturday (Oct. 4) in the 1460 Devon Rd. school's parking lot from 8 a.m.-noon. All proceeds from the sale will go towards the Canadian Cancer Society's Relay for Life 2015, as part of OTHS' overall fundraising goal of $155,000. Donations of goods in the form of gently-used small appliances, books, furniture, electronic items, games and toys are currently being accepted at the school. The OTHS Relay organizing committee asks that no clothing donations be made. The school is also hosting a can-and-bottle drive the same day and welcomes donations. OTHS has been named the top school fundraiser in Ontario for the Relay for Life in a past event. "This year, the students are eager to beat their personal best and are appealing to their local community to help them by contributing in any way they can and coming out to purchase goods as well," stated a press release.
