Re-energize your business. present Jim Treliving to Kick Off Small Business Week in Oakville The Oakville Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Business Development Bank of CanadaTM, is pleased to present Chairman and owner of Boston Pizza, Jim Treliving as the keynote speaker for the Small Business Week Kickoff Breakfast on Monday October 20, 2014. With his business partner, George Melville, Jim has grown their operation from one Boston Pizza location in 1968 to over 400 restaurants across North America as well as invested in many other successful businesses across Canada and the United States. In addition to running a successful business, Jim stars as one of five Dragons on the highly successful CBC's reality TV show, Dragon's Den, where aspiring entrepreneurs secure a financial investment from the Dragons to start their own business. He is also host of a new CBC TV show called "Big Decision" where he visits struggling businesses across Canada to evaluate their issues and potentially get involved to help turn them around. "We are thrilled to have Jim Treliving speak during Small Business Week," says Chamber Chair Kerry Colborne. "His incredible entrepreneurial experience and colourful personality will undoubtedly inspire the Chamber members and guests who attend the breakfast. What a fantastic start to this important week."
