U -17 GIRLS Oakville had two teams, the Oakville Angels losting here in Oakville and Oakville Rebels in Niagara Falls. The Rage went on to advance, defeating Niagara Falls Rapids 1-0 and Pickering Power 3-0. Oakville won their remaining two games 6-0 over Niagara Falls Rapids and 1-0 over Pickering Power. U -18 BOYS TIER ONE (Oakville Blaze) The Oakville Blaze did not qualify in their tournament in Woodbridge, with the host Woodbridge Strikers advancing. The Blaze were winless in four games. The teams tied 1-1. Oakville Dolphins hold week-long summer camps each camp. They're ideal for swim mers age six and up, currently in junior silver level or above. The focus of the camps is to work on stroke technique for all four strokes. The Oakville Dolphins have weeklong summer swim camps available all summer at their pool at 407 Speers Road. Maximum of six participants in Tom Schupp finishes 30th at the Ontario Amateur O akville's Tom Schupp flirted with a top-10 finish at the Investors Group Ontario Men's Amateur Championship but a final round 83 left him well back in 30th place with a four-day total of 307 (77-70-7783). The event was won by Toronto's Charlie Woo, who completed a disap pointing first year at the University of Louisville, with a 286 (69-73-7272). The event wrapped up Friday at York Downs Golf and Country Club, home course for Woo.
