DaimlerChrysler Canada announce new powertrain warranty DaimlerChrysler Canada has announced it will provide an industry-leading seven-year/115,000 kilometre powertrain warranty on its Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge brand vehicles. The warranty, which is fully-transferable to subsequent owners at no extra cost, will be provid ed at no charge on new 2003 DaimlerChrysler Canada vehicles. Components covered by the 7/115 Powertrain Warranty include the engine, transmission (transaxle), transfer case and axles. Powertrain component coverage becomes effective following the standard bumper-tobumper coverage of three years or 60,000 kilome tres and extends to seven years or 115,000 kilome tres, whichever comes first. The DaimlerChrysler Canada program also includes seven years or 115,000 kilometres of Roadside Assistance. Services provided include towing, changing a flat tire, battery charging, delivery of fuel and vehicle lockouts.
