The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 486, Bronte service will be held Sunday (Nov. 9) at the Bronte Cenotaph on Lakeshore Road at Bronte Harbour at 11 a.m. Veterans are invited to meet at the Legion headquarters at 79 Jones St. at 10:30 a.m. where a march will proceed to the Cenotaph. After the service, a light lunch will be served at the Legion for participants and the public is also invited to attend. On Tuesday, Nov. 11 (Remembrance Day), the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 114 Oakville will host a parade of veterans that will assemble at Centennial Square, near Church and Navy streets, at 10:30 a.m. Veterans will march to George's Square, on Trafalgar Road between Summer and Palmer avenues, for the 11 a.m. ceremony. see Oakville on p.8 Young Arad Farah high- ves veteran Andy Barber, after Farah's mother, Zahra Sheikholeslami, became a Canadian citizen during a citizenship ceremony at Oakville Town Hall yesterday (Thursday).
