Following the parade, Film.ca will present screenings of two holiday classics, A Christmas Story at 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and Home Alone at 11:45 a.m. or 2 p.m. In lieu of admission, anyone attending the movie is asked to bring a donation to support the Oak Park Neighbourhood Centre's food drive. Items being accepted are cash donations, non-perishable food items and grocery store gift cards. The parade begins at 9 a.m. at Lakeshore Road and Reynolds Street, going west on Lakeshore to Kerr Street, north on Kerr and ending at Stewart Street. Santa Shuttles will run every 10 minutes from the Oakville GO station and stop at all regular stops along Reynolds to the Church/ Dunn bus terminal.
