Tomorrow (Friday), the local restaurants will donate a portion of their proceeds to the United Way Oakville's campaign to raise more than $4-million. Oakville residents can help out by simply having a meal at one of the participating restaurants. The restaurant that raises the most money will be crowned the winner of the challenge. "We are thrilled to be participating again this year and proudly support United Way Oakville," said Colleen Tobin of Alice Fazooli's. "All of our staff are looking forward to another great year." Some restaurants have already got a headstart on fundraising, including Browns Socialhouse, which has already raised $2,000. Bru Restaurant, a former winner of the challenge, will be taking part again this year.
