Into the Christmas spirit The Oakville Rangers novice A rep team is into the Christmas spirit this year. At their annual Christmas party, instead of exchanging gifts, they decided to each bring an unwrapped gift. The gifts were then distributed to the Salvation Army, Oakville Community Services Branch on Rebecca Street. They haven't been so giving on the ice, however, winning five of their last six games to push their season record to 132. Head coach Dave Crozier and assistant coaches Geoff Blackwell and Kenton Rein have led the team to a nice start. Here's a recap: Oakville 7, Fergus 0: each forward line scored and each defenceman earned a point. Rangers goals by Logan Crozier (2), Andrew Kew (2), Zach Varao, Nicholas Rein and Patrick Enman.
